Focus on: Olivia Palermo, her rules.

  In the last post I said that I was preparing a post about a famous socialite, 

here you are HER. She is Olivia Palermo and I think is no necessary to say who she is!
Sooner you'll see her at the Fashion Week of all the major cities...as ever! 

But today I don't wanna show you super glam and not for ordinary mortals outfits, 
instead the focus is on her daily looks, what she wears normally, 
in her real life, when she is with her boy or she is going somewhere..



As you can see the style is elegant, (a bit) sophisticated, classic, really feminine, 
but at any rate there is nothing in this style that you can't recreate!

N°1 Basic: as you can see, the base around which she creates her outfits is really simple, black, olive green, white, cream..basic colours! And she emphasizes her good point, her legs, with super skinny trousers!

Don't limit yourself to basic colours, but anyway choose those that make you comfy and then mix it with other!

N°2 Denim: every woman should have a little bit of denim in her wardrobe, look at these  shots, if you mix it in the right way, denim can be really elegant!

A pair of jeans (maybe with some applications on) or a denim shirt can be ok. 

N°3 Pearls: I know that you can't see them in these little pics, but I can guarantee you, that she doesn't wear big or eye-catching earrings, instead she has got very often little pearls on her ears. 

Try some pearls also on a casual look, you'll see the difference immediately! Pearls give to every woman a special "princess mood".

N°4 Big Bag: during the day you have to run everywhere and you need a lot of things, so what's better than a big bag?! If you won't to freak out, black, natural leather, white, are the right colours! You can use them with (almost) every outfits.

N°5 Flats&Heels: if you ask it to Google, it will say that she is 1,63 meter, a normal woman!
Generally I often hear people from the fashion system say that a girl not too much tall shouldn't wear ballet flats......to me this is absolutely stupid! 
Olivia maybe thinks the same, seeing that she wears ballet flats very very very often! 

She also has got sneakers (not sneakers with wedges!), cuissarde flat, biker boots and heels, note down: she doesn't have heels with plateau! Only pumps! 
I think that them make the look more elegant than plateau....surely.

N°6 Attention on Details: take a look at her coats, some of them have got leather sleeves; 
she doesn't put on many jewels, but she adds only a special watch or important bangles; 
sunglasses, the right pair can make a big difference, so find yours!
